I have been using Mckinney Oil X-Change for a few years for oil changes, this morning they tried to rip me off by telling me that I needed new spark plugs. In January I had my mechanic change my belts and spark plugs on my vehicle. The so called mechanic came in and told me my spark plugs needed to be replaced oh really I said they were replaced in January. The spark plug he was showing me doesn't match what my mechanic used. I will not deny that removed the spark plug but the one he was showing me was dirty and burnt. When I got home I removed the spark plugs and they were clean and it was a dealer part not an after market product. I am so disappointed in Mckinney Oil X-Change that I feel I need to tell everyone my story.. I am going to report them to the BBB. People please be aware, if they tried this on me it makes me wonder how many people they have scammed. Also the manager of the store told me that he would give me $100 if I could prove it was a scam. I'm old school so taking off a spark plug is no big deal for me. I wanted to go back, but my wife suggested I write this review instead, she was concern things could get out of hand.
